dr. gallagherMartin P. Gallagher, M.D., D.C., has the unique distinction of being a chiropractor as well as a medical doctor. During his distinguished career, he has treated over 300,000 patients using an integrative medicine approach to well being. He is the clinic director of Medical Wellness Associates, a multidisciplinary integrative health care facility located outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Gallagher is considered to be a leading authority in the field of Integrative Medicine. He lectures both nationally and internationally to medical professionals and the public on matters pertaining to optimal health. He has been featured in Alternative Medicine and Let’s Live magazines and has been a frequent guest of the Gary Null show. He has been interviewed and filmed by the Arts and Entertainment network for an upcoming documentary on Integrative Medicine.

Charlotte A. Ciotti, M.S., D.C.

Dr. Charlotte Ciotti was born to devoted parents in Jeannette, Pa.  She attended Xavier Academy in Latrobe, Pa., where she excelled in the fine arts including piano, drama, and debate.

She continued her education at Wheeling Jesuit University, where she studied Sociology and Psychology.  While in college she participated in musical productions and dance.

She enrolled in graduate school at Washington University, in St. Louis, to study and obtain a combined Masters degree in Sociology and Counseling, when her career path took a sudden shift.  Having become interested in alternative medicine and nutrition, Dr. Ciotti decided to combine her keen interests in natural health care into a professional study.  She subsequently enrolled at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis.

Michael P. Steinhauser, D.C.

dr. steinhauser.jpgDr. Steinhauser has been a staff Chiropractic Physician at Medical Wellness Associates for over 10 years.  He is a native of Western Pa, having graduated from Bethel High School.  While in high school, he was considered a prolific athlete, until he suffered a debilitating spinal injury.

After an unsuccessful course of Allopathic medicine for his condition, he turned to Chiropractic manipulation for help for his injury.  The results were, according to Dr.Steinhauser, “nothing short of amazing.  I went from not being able to put my shoes and socks on to returning to full contact sports without limitations.”

Noah C. Erickson, D.C.

Dr. Noah Erickson is originally from Bethel Park in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.  He was inspired to begin his career in alternative medicine following successful treatment of chronic low back pain, fatigue, digestive problems, and scoliosis in 1999 by Martin Gallagher, MD, DC, and director of Medical Wellness Associates. He subsequently enrolled in Chiropractic College at Logan College of Chiropractic, where he flourished in his studies of manipulation, craniopathy, nutrition, acupuncture, kinesiology and sports medicine.
